These songs are Scriptures set to tune to aid Scripture memorization. The verses are all from the New International Version 1984 edition (used with permission). These verses are reliable and worth memorizing. However there is a more recent version of NIV (2011) which we do not recommend* (please read disclaimer below).

All songs were set to tune by Rampert Ratnaiya and this version of "Scriptunes" was released around 2002 (remix) by the Friends Missionary Prayer Band. Many people put their shoulders to this project. Ashok Vedhanayagam initiated this remix on behalf of Friends Missionary Prayer Band. The various singers are as follows.

- The narrations are by Mrs. Grace Paul Wesley and Dr. Clement Felix
- The choral arrangements are by Augustine and the choir comprises of Augustine and friends.
- The Drum Programming, Recording and Mixing is by Josiah Heflin.
- The Electric Guitar was played by Bennett Emmanuel.
- All other instruments were orchestrated and sequenced by Rampert Ratnaiya.

*I DO NOT endorse the new 2011 version of NIV which in trying to be "politically correct" and has serious misrepresentations. When we used the 1984 version for Scriptunes, we found that version to be reliable and all the verses that we have used are worth memorizing. Zondervan (the publisher) is not in Christian hands any more. It is now a division of Harper Collins.
